What is TOKYO Night & Light?
- Projection mapping show at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building.
- From 25 February to end of April 2024.
- Opening event with live performance on the first day of screening (free of charge).
- This event has been submitted for a Guinness World Record™ as the “Largest architectural projection mapping exhibition”.

Projection mapping using the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building No. 1, one of Tokyo’s landmarks, as a canvas, will begin showing a variety of art forms using light and sound.
On weekdays, highly visible content will be shown while utilising the formative beauty of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building.
On weekends and public holidays, content with a storyline using colour and detailed expressions will be shown.

*Scheduled to be shown every day except in stormy weather, etc.

*Special schedule of screenings on 25 February only. (26 February ~ end of April 2024)

Access
- 10 mins walk from West Exit of JR Shinjuku Station.
- 10-minute walk from Nishi-Shinjuku Station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line.
- Directly connected to Tochomae Station on the Toei Subway Oedo Line.
Other information
The opening event on the first day featured live performances and a Guinness World Records recognition ceremony in the square in front of the town hall.
The electricity used for projection mapping is environmentally friendly and is mainly generated by solar power.
